About Creosote

Creosote or Chaparral (Larrea tridentata) is considered by the indigenous Cahuilla, Serrano and Chemehuevi to be a panacea and master healer. Creosote is a powerful detoxifyer and can even absorb heavy metals from the soil and air.

As an essence, they safely cleanse our energy body, mind and spirits, clearing negative emotions such as anxiety, panic and fear.
They help to ground us and create strong protective boundaries for inner spaciousness and transformation.

Through this incredible combination of modalities, you will move through spaces of release, communion and integration with your wild and natural creative force.

More About Our Concept and Collaboration
About the Practices

Hanna Somatic Movement
Ever feel a tight muscle in your neck and shoulder and wish you could "undo" the contraction and release the pain?

This is exactly what you learn to do in Hanna Somatic Movement. This little known modality of movement and bodywork is incredibly effective at training your nervous system to release chronically contracted muscles.

Every life experience comes with a muscular pattern: from daily stress, sitting at a desk to major traumas and car accidents. These tension patterns layer on our bodies and create immobility, pain and discomfort.

Using this powerful, gentle, deeply sensuous movement technique, you will release and lengthen tight muscles back to a more natural length and feel a sense of peace, calm and freedom within your body, mind and spirit.

Creating with Creosote
As my neighbor, friend, and guide, creosote has been accompanying me in my life and creative practices for the last 6 years.

This workshop is an opportunity to intentionally deepen into relationship to this ancient ally through collaborative creation as this being has so brilliantly demonstrated.
This ancient plant has brought attention to interconnection, depth, clearing, and creating through the hands. I’ve crafted ink from this friend to further commune and allowing Creosote to be our guide into creative imaginal and symbolic realms.
