Guest Bio:

Jana Stern is a psychic, astrologer, and pattern reader with fifteen years of experience helping people name the parts of themselves they've never had language for. Her core belief: most people aren't broken, just disconnected from their own signal in a world that trained them to override it.

In her twenties, Jana survived a suicide attempt and was clinically dead for eleven minutes, an experience that reshaped how she understands consciousness, suffering, and healing. She hosts The Just Jana Show, bringing live readings and unscripted precision to a public format. Her flagship offerings, Psychic Mastery and Psychic Literacy, run on the same premise as everything she does: name the pattern, and it can change.

She's direct, occasionally irreverent, and incapable of giving a surface answer when a deeper one exists. People leave with words for things they've felt their whole lives.

LISTEN WHILE READING!

A: Hey there, listener, Aimee Takaya here on the Free Your Soma podcast. Have you been curious about psychic astrology? Do you even know what that term is, right? What about quantum human design? What about understanding why we end up in the pain patterns that we end up in throughout our lives and what we can do to start understanding ourselves better and making more aligned choices with our soul's destiny.

Today I have Jana Stern, psychic astrologer and founder of the year-long mentorship program psychic mastery. And we're actually going to get into my astrology today a little bit, because as you have been hearing on the podcast, I've been going through an epic year of somatic and psychic and emotional transformation. And uh yeah, she's gonna give me a little mini reading. She's gonna talk about some of the transits that are going on. So if you are curious about tapping into the collective consciousness today, please stay tuned.

A: Every day there is a forgetting, and every moment there is the possibility of remembering, remembering who you truly are, awakening to your body, to the inner world, to the experience of being alive. Here is where you find the beauty, the joy, and here is where you free your soma.

I'm your host, Aimee Takaya. I'm here to help you move from pain to power, from tension to expansion, and ultimately from fear to love. I am so excited to be here.

A: I'm so excited to have you here. This was meant to be. This is like the perfect day to do this, as we literally, yes, before we like started recording. And yeah, before we get going on it, like, can you just tell people a little bit about what's the difference between like psychic a psychic astrologer and a regular astrologer who's maybe more systematic and like a linear kind of way?

J: Yeah, there's a Yiddish word for it, and it is chutzpah. Um, I just have the balls to say psychic.

A: I think that everybody is psychic. I believe that. I teach that, I live that. And I think that every astrologer, every reader, every healer, every person in the service industry. So if you serve tables, if you, you know, if you're somebody, even doctors, nurses, any, any, anybody, we are all psychics, in my opinion. And so I have the gift of being able to tap in and hear and listen very, very intently.

I have the chutzpah to just be like, that's who I am. I'm a psychic. And I have studied astrology for many, many, many, many, many, many years. And so I just tack it on the foreground there because I do have the gift of mediumship.

I have also, I had a near-death experience in my 20s that really, really activated a lot of things for me. And so, in certainly in that realm, and then gave me even more of a boost to be a, you know, shit talker, as I often say. And so a psychic astrology reading is really just like, listen, I know that I know. I and I don't know everything, but I know that I know what I know.

And so when I start to read a chart, I'm not just reading from what the chart is telling me. I'm also reading from what your guides are telling me, from what spirit is saying, from what, you know, what other messages are coming through, what other things I can know and feel and and and tap in with. And so it's not, and to my point, I think every single reader and every single person who's in relationship with another person has a psychic capacity to tap in in some way, but I have the chutzpah to say so.

Yes, I mean, really, that's what we need is the courage and also the trust in ourselves, right? That whatever is gonna flow from me, from my beingness, from my consciousness, from my mouth, right, is going to have a blessing around it, is going to be, you know, sacred and how to like navigate those waters. I think that a lot of people are psychic, like you said, but they don't trust themselves. And I know I I used to feel this way about myself too. It took me quite a lot of time and practice to be able to have that differentiation between like what is a projection in my mind of like something from me in my past and what is an actual message coming through that is of service, right? You know, and go ahead.

J: It's sorry. I it's just I you're as you're speaking, I'm thinking, you know, a question that people ask a lot is like, well, how do I know the difference between my anxiety and my intuition? Yes. And the simple answer to that is that your intuition is slow and steady, and your anxiety is rushed.

Yes. It There's this like, oh my God, I got it. And it you're on the edge of your seat and everything feels pins and needles and very anxious, right? But when you are in that intuitive knowing, there really is this like calm, almost still water about the whole thing. You're just like, no, there's just a knowingness.

And then of course, our stupid conditioning is like, well, you don't know. And that's a coincidence. And da-da-da-da-da. But like all of those things are where the the you start to churn the waters yourself. You stir up the anxiety from the not trusting.

And by the way, one hand feeds the other. The more that you don't trust your intuition, the more anxiety builds, the more anxiety builds, the less you trust your intuition. So you have to almost be a little bit insane about it, which happy to be that. Totally happy to be the crazy one in the room. Um so yeah, you know, you gotta like let yourself be in the in the crazy of like, I don't know why I know that I know, but I know that I know, and it's okay, you know.

A: Yeah, yeah. Absolutely. And you're really uh kind of identifying something that, you know, in in my somatic work I experience with people a lot, which is as your right nervous system down regulates and you let go of the stress, like literally in your body, you know, any kind of any kind of course that you take that's gonna inspire you to connect more with your intuition, you know, they're gonna have you meditating, they're gonna have you moving your body, they're gonna have you

J: breathing slowly, slowly not a hundred thousand reps, but just qigong movement, yoga movement, but slow, totally.

A: Yes. And the somatic work I do is super slow. It's like ultra slow motion, right? So people find like that, you know, oftentimes people will find the somatic work that I do very spiritual, like they're connecting more with their their intuition and their higher self or their guides, but it's because their nervous system slowing down that there's less interference, right?

J: Yes, yes, yes, yes. And and you know, that by the way, like if you want to know, if you're if if you're ever gonna be wealthy in this world where there is so much lack, go ahead and slow down your nervous system and you will be a billionaire because it's such a commodity to be able to experience the world as it's moving at a million miles an hour, you know, that the idea of

A: knowing that we are moving through time and space, the planet is rotating, the planet is also moving on an axis and all the whole solar system is moving and everything is moving and moving and moving and moving. If you can just find stillness and allow your body to be safe, you can achieve literally anything in this world, like in my opinion, truly. And I live a really magical, beautiful life that people are often like, well, your life is incredible. And I'm like, well, that's because I've learned to

J: tune in with what's true inside of it, inside of me, inside of my reality, inside of my mind, inside of all the things, and to notice what's happening up in my consciousness and then what's happening actually way above that. What's happening, you know, from a source space, and then what is my stupid ego just being like, you know, you know, like all that noise. Yeah. Yeah.

A: Well, it's it's gonna be a total gift to get to hear a little bit about what you're seeing, sort of or feeling or sensing or receiving, right? All the different ways that you're bringing in this information to share with us today. So let's start with maybe just before we get into my particular chart, like what is happening in the collective right now, like this year, this month, right?

J: Like maybe give us just a little happening in the collective. A little overview. So 2027 is is this massive, massive, massive shift. Those who have studied human design or quantum human design, or who have, you know, learned anything about the Kali Yuga or who have been studying pretty much any of the like major, major modalities knows, especially astrology, that 2027 is the turning of an age.

It is an opportunity for all of humanity to look at things through a very, very, very different radical lens. And right now, we are at the moment in the pressure cooker where all the juice and the guck is splurting everywhere. We are almost fully cooked. And, you know, that that phrase has become so tongue-in-cheek, virally, like on the internet, like, oh, we're cooked, chat, chat, we're cooked. We're almost cooked, but not in a negative way.

I want to say, like, straight off the bat, whatever I'm about to say next. I don't believe in fear, and I don't believe in fear predicting. I don't believe in that at all. But I do think that humanity has a lot of work to do, and that there are clearly obviously many systems that have been falling apart, breaking away. You know, it's almost like we've been sort of hacking away for a long, long, long time at the bottom of this huge tower. And we're like, is this thing ever gonna fall?

These people at the top with their 1% and what the hell are they doing and why? So there's, you know, some of the what we're seeing is like, um, you know, if we go into the realm of tech and AI, um, we're definitely seeing that, you know, there is this obvious sales pitch that we're being sold. And the sales pitch sounds like, you know, this nonsense of we're all gonna die in 10 years, which, you know, that whole thing went very viral.

That guy quit, you know, open AI, we're all gonna die in 10 years. And then of course, it turned out to be a marketing ploy because there's a movie coming out and the movies generally, including television programming and all of the things, all of the programming, all of the things that we've learned to predict because of what's been sold to us by these, you know, entities and energies of, you know, whomever pulls the strings, so to speak.

A: Right, or no, I just heard this term, and maybe this implies attention harvesting. Totally.

J: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So all of the programming is about whether it's creating a fear so that you forget that you have literally the power to create your entire universe and the whole world around you. And so the more fearful you are, right?

The more in the anxiety you are, the less you're going to be able to tap in with the intuition. Again, this is why I come back to if you're working on your somatics, you're a billionaire. And maybe not this moment, but time is fake and everything is make believe, and so is money. Money is just energy.

And if you have control over your energy, you will be able to control what energy flows to you in the future, full stop. So there's that piece. This like this undoing of like, we see, we understand, we get it.

You sold us a lot of stories, and maybe in 2020 we were buying some of them, but we're done buying the stories. So that's definitely unfolding collectively. Another thing that's really unfolding collectively is like this obvious divine feminine consciousness rising, which when we go to talk about your chart, I'm gonna speak on it because yeah, it's happening for you in this like really cool way, uh, in a way that you're gonna be like, whoa, because some of the things that are happening, we'll we'll get to it. But the divine feminine consciousness rising is not, in fact, and I talk about this a lot.

It is not, in fact, you know, uh, women softening and being in their pretty girl era, although it's some of that, you know. I love that. And I I am definitely a girl who loves a silk slip dress, and you know, I don't love a high heel, but I do love a soft kitten, you know, like pointy, whatever. All like I like my feminine era, you know, but I also will can I swear? Oh, fuck yeah. Okay. I will also fuck a motherfucker up if they fuck around. You fuck with my friends, you fuck with women. Absolutely not.

A: Oh my God. Yes. We forget how fierce women are. You know, like I think about those fake nails, you know. Sometimes I see these women with like their fake nails and like the lashes and everything. And I'm just like, you are a freaking like wild cat. Like you are you have like your armor on.

You're like ready to like just slay. You know, we were using that term too, more and more, right? Like it's it's part of this whole paradigm shift away from, oh, you think I'm like, you know, cute and pretty. And but actually, demure, I birth humans, right? Like they just they come bloody correct out of my body. Like that is some serious, heavy, intense shit, right? Yeah. And so we're seeing that, right?

J: We're seeing that in things like the the Clancy trial, right? But we're also seeing it in things even more to the minute of like, I'm not sure if you've heard about it, but these seven men uh disgusting in Cornell, you know, two years later being held accountable. And I'm like, yeah, well, look at the astrology. Venus is about to go retrograde in Scorpio. Yeah, fuck around.

Find the fuck out. No, you don't get to be a doctor. No, you don't get to have a career in politics.

No, you don't get to just keep going, knowing that you've done this harm to somebody else. Like, actually, we're gonna be holding you accountable. And we're not just holding the seven of you accountable, we're also gonna hold the 57 people in the group chat accountable.

A: Well, it's holding holding the culture accountable, correct? Yes. That's right.

J: That's right. Yeah. That like there's an entire system that upheld this. The police, the dean, all of these other, you know, the president, the the couple women who were like, yep, you're also not fucking allies either, right? And so all of those changes, like all of those, those little things, they are building upon, you know, that one woman whose husband was drugging her, that one website where all the, yeah, yes, yes, exactly.

And so all of these conversations that have been ongoing since me too, right? That have and really have been ongoing in rooms with only women, you know, whispering to one another in in the in the kitchens for millennia, right? There's a reason that women have not been allowed to congregate.

And there's a reason all of these things have happened. And the antithesis to patriarchy is not matriarchy. It is something that we've not yet conceived. It's not this polarity where we make all men a problem. It's where we heal all men because all men have also been harmed, traumatized, repressed.

A: I know, you know, I was thinking about this with these seven guys that you look at their pictures, I'm like, they're freaking babies. They're so young. And like I can understand why, like some people, especially other men or maybe even other women be like, oh, I want to protect them too, even though they're the fucking perpetrators, right? I can understand that psychology when you look at their little baby faces and their whole lives are ahead of them. You know, there's somebody's child right there. Well, at some point, that child got exposed to hardcore pornography, right? Which was probably traumatizing for them.

Yeah. Nobody helped them process it. Who knows if they experienced some kind of correction abuse or witnessed it and nobody helped them process it?

They just told them this is how it is, and this is what you have to deal with in order to be cool and to be one of the boys and to just, you know, carry on and you know, like make it okay for you know, whoever is doing this in front of you, that that's how it is. You know, they are also part of the trauma of this experience. But the truth is they are also the perpetrators and need to be called out and held accountable because they're not little kids anymore. And they correct. They they need to process whatever it is in them that allowed this to continue and occur, right?

J: That's right. That's right. And I've been talking a lot about this lately, which is this idea that, you know, like all of the things are true, that yes, in all likelihood, those people had a lack of authority and control in their own lives at some point that was harmful, that is part of their own system of family, their own system of, you know, trying to fit in with a fraternity, trying to fit in with an Ivy League school, trying to keep up, trying all the things and all those things are true. And they do deserve some kind of reformation.

But in order to do that, you have to hold them accountable. And I've been talking a lot about these polarizing oppositional things that we hold, you know, like that is a that is a perpetrator, he is a terrible person, or that is a victim and she is a, you know, it happened to her. And both of those things take away sovereignty, they take away power that is innate in every human being. And so we can't be in those two polarizing spaces because if there are victims, then there are perpetrators.

And if there are perpetrators, then there are victims. And what we need to do is create a reality and we're moving in that direction collectively. I don't exactly know how it will land or when we'll get there. I do know that by 2030, the world will look very different in this way specifically.

But there needs to be, as I've been referring to it, there needs to be a secret third thing that comes from it, which is to say if victim has been the egg and perpetrator has been the sperm, the two need to come together to create a miraculous third thing, a thing that we cannot.

A: Yeah, speaking my language. I'm like a Libra moon over here, fourth house, And I'm like, yes. Yes. Exactly.

J: We got to find that in that where's the middle point in the intersection of infinity, right? Where is correct? Yes.

A: Did you know that your muscles are holding on to thoughts, memories, and feelings? If you have a tight neck or back, you're not just getting old. You're experiencing a buildup of tension from the life you've lived. Most people don't know this, but there is a part of your brain that can reverse and prevent chronic tension.

When you relax your muscles, you not only move better and regulate your nervous system, but you also free yourself from the grip the past has over your body. So you can live with freedom, confidence, and enjoy your life now. How does that sound? Join me, Aimee Takaya, and discover what my clients are raving about at You Can Free Your Soma.com.

J: Yeah. So that's kind of some of what's going on. And then I would say also collectively, right now, there is an evolution of the understanding of exactly what your show talks about, which is where am I in space and time? Because now is the only thing in existence.

And so where am I and what am I? Am I feeling overwhelmed? Am I, you know, regulated or dysregulated? Am I in a safe container or a not safe container? Is this dynamic healthy or not healthy?

Is it available for more or is it not available for more? Should I have this conversation to try to find that middle? Is the middle available in this dynamic? Or do I need to just realize that you're still standing so far on your polarity? And I'm actually, it's not safe for me to get into that space. So I'm going to stand on my side and hope that God brings you to where we could meet in the middle someday.

But today is not that day, and that's okay. And I don't need to solve everything because my center is important, right? And so that understanding and being able to know what's happening in your body to connect with your spirit in a way that says, hey, I'm still incarnated. Um what does that mean right now? And then where are my possibilities in this?

And then, like, is there space for that miraculous third thing that like I didn't see coming? You know, I've always had this kind of experience, or I've had that kind of trauma or this kind of pain, or I've experienced this thing with this family member or that, you know, friend or partner. Can I allow that maybe I've just been telling a story and what's here now is actually much safer than I can allow it to be based on the past. So I'm future predicting into something terrible.

A: Right, right. Well, and that's something that I was just, you know, I was just at a doTERRA convention and they had Benjamin Hardy, the 10x guy who talks about scaling. And he had this whole model of like we're talking about linear time, and people are thinking from their business in terms of linear time, like the past. What did we do last year? You Or you know, predict predicts what we're gonna do this year and sales and what's our increment that can be reasonably expected. He's like, you need to make unreasonable goals.

You need to make huge, uh, you know, unreasonable, like impossible goals because that's going to break you out of that linear time model. So it's very much kind of similar to what you're talking about. And I really do see that, you know, I mean, dude, people are talking about the multiverse. Like I didn't even have a language for that when I was like 19 years old. Like I knew about layered universes because my mother's a Rosicrucian and like just so much, you know, things I'd been exposed to. But now there's like a whole awareness of it. There's a memes about the multiverse.

J: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And, you know, this is this is the the true turning that we've been speaking about. And by the way, this is like biblically mentioned this time, all of these things, right? The understanding that we are literally, even though it doesn't seem like it, the safest humanity has ever been throughout history. Even though there are wars going on, there are super like there are so many fewer wars happening. There is so much less danger.

And that's why they have to push all the fear, because it keeps you in that very reptilian head space of am I safe? And then you can't create respond. Correct.

You can't create from that space. When you get into your somatics, when you get into the soma and you feel your body and you notice, okay, my feet are on the ground. There is no bear, there is no, you know, there is no threat, there is no danger, all is well, then the worlds of possibility open up for, okay, if I've always been broke, that belongs in that fear paradigm. What exists up and above outside of that? But you have to be able to go higher. You have to, there's no option.

A: Yes, I feel you. I feel like I've been living so many of the things that you're describing. And I'm sure that other listeners can also relate, you know, depending on where they are, like in their in their particular transit or their particular journey. You know, before we started recording, you know, you got this message in that you needed to know a little bit about what was going on with me.

And so I told you about my hip surgeries. I gave you my birth details, you got my chart pulled up. I even mentioned that I've had two readings. Both of them predicted that October would be a difficult month for me. And here we are, you know, on this is right now it's the 29th, right?

We're about to head into October of September, right? And so, you know, you took a look and there are some things that are really coming up. But the thing is is that I was already aware of it's gonna be happening inside the theater of my consciousness.

It's actually not like something devastating happening in my external world. It's how much, you know, what is it, Albert Einstein or somebody, no, Mark Twain? It was Mark Twain. He said, I have experienced many horrible things in my life that never happened. Yes.

J: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. And we we do do that. We do it partially to keep ourselves safe, but also, and this is like where things get a little bit sticky and people don't love when I say this, but there are a lot of people who really love being the victim

A: or get off on their own suffering. Yeah. Yeah.

J: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Because then they don't have to do the hard work of changing the behavior, because changing the behavior, allowing yourself to move into a new version of yourself to notice holy fuck, I am spiraling, and the whole spiral is a lie that I've created. And now I'm actually just going to sit down and let it be so that I've been spiraling and it's okay that I have been, and I'm going to stop. That takes practice.

It takes time, it takes effort. And it's something that I've done many times myself in my own life. I'm talking like this. I'm a person who literally tried to kill myself, had a serious eating disorder in my 20s. And I've moved outside of all of that thinking, all of those ways of being into a self that's like, there's that thought again. Don't love that.

What else is available? And if you've ever been somebody who's had depression, who's had any kind of, you know, if you call yourself on the spectrum or any of those things, it is so simple. And I watched it. Like I watched it when I was in treatment. People love to stay in those spaces because you don't have to be responsible.

A: So and it's predictable, right? It's a predictable thing. You get used to it. It's a habit. You know, this is part of what I'm doing an experiment this month, the month of October that we're not quite in yet. And it was actually from one of my clients, he was saying to me, you know, that his brain, like he feels the best within the first like hour of waking up. He's like, when I first wake up, I'm in this really positive space. But that actually, like personally hit me really hard because it was a mirror for me of something that's been going on basically as long as I can remember, which is I wake up with either anxiety or some kind of depressive feeling.

Like I either get up with like adrenaline and I'm like hopping out of bed and my husband's like, wow, you're such a morning person, and I'm like getting all this stuff done, or I'm, you know, it can be positive. Like it could be really excited about my day, but I'm waking up with either dread and like depression, or I'm waking up with like anxiety. And so my experiment this month is that before I do anything else in the morning, I'm gonna take my like bergamo essential oil and I'm going to rub my hands and I'm going to inhale and I'm gonna arch my back and I'm gonna breathe in this smell, and then I'm gonna release out of it.

I'm gonna do that three times. And as I do, I'm just gonna say a loving kind thing into my energy field, into my consciousness, and I'm gonna call love in. And it's this thing that I it's like it's like I have all these other practices.

I mean, I could give you like a huge list of all the different practices that I've done in my life that have involved some level of this, but I the place that I haven't done it is first thing in the morning, the first moment that my brain turns on, because I've just habituated that misery. I've just made that normal. I've just made the anxiety and the adrenaline and the cortisol, or I've made the sadness normal. It's just that's just how I wake up. That's you know, and at this point in my life, I'm like, I don't want to wake up that way anymore. Exactly.

J: And I I, you know, I have a very, very devout morning practice for exactly that reason. I don't touch my phone, you know, I don't engage in any of the things that I know are gonna absolutely take me off my path. I have a prayer, I have three prayers that I say every morning. I, you know, I move my body a little bit, I sit in meditation, I, you know, and all of this is before I've brushed my teeth before I've left my bedroom, because otherwise I personally cannot be the self that I want to be throughout the rest of my day, because my day just gets away.

And when I'm like, hold on, I there's a Hebrew prayer called mode. Thankful am I for the returning of my soul into my body every morning. I say this prayer. It's very, very short, but I say this prayer every morning because the feeling is I'm back, baby. Like I'm still here, I'm still doing this thing. And that means that I have to do it with gratitude.

I have to do it. And and again, like what I love about the prayer is that it literally says, thankful am I, not I am thankful. The gratitude comes first. So it's really, I mean, listen, I could go on and on and on about the power of prayer and all of the things and whatever, but whatever, even if the prayer is just the scent of bergamot, which like, you know, that's an interesting one for me from my perspective.

I looked at your chart for about eight milliseconds, but if I were really to analyze it, I would look to see, you know, where that Claire aliens is. So that Claire sense of smell and what it does for you, where it brings in that intuitive knowing, how it's linking into the part of you that says safety, and how it's also bringing through other messages. I personally hate the smell of bergamot.

Hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it. So I love that you're like, this is the thing that's gonna bring me back into myself and it's gonna help me to like move my body in a way that says, yes, I'm here and I'm full and I'm present and I'm alive in it, and all of those things. And just like a note that because that is the thing that's helping you to remember and to daily get out of that anxiety, work with your olfactory senses, work with your sense of smell on purpose, which I obviously, if you're going to do a conferences, you're doing this. Um, but yeah, you know, really, really work with that sense of smell to say, okay, spirit, show me what I need to know through the smells around me. And you will, right?

A: They just they say that's our first sense, right? Is smell and the smell of our mother and our mother's body. And it's so I'm putting piecing together this kind of like, you know, because I don't, I'm not an astrologer, but I was raised with astrology. I've had multiple like astrologers that I've hired and have been my astrologer for periods of time. So cancer, which is my sun sign and my rising, right?

Is uh, you know, I can't remember when I I heard this, but it's like in the progression of the astrology signs, cancer is like the birthing of spirit into form, right? And then the opposition is Capricorn trying to get back up into the heavens, right? So cancer is when spirit comes from the heavens down into form and is birthed, and it's why it's the sign of the mother, right? And I'm thinking what and moon, yes. And why I'm thinking, like you just said, when I wake up in the morning, it's like I have been in the collective consciousness. And one one joke I used to make about water signs was like cancers are sensitive to everybody but themselves.

They have to keep like trying to figure out like and come back into how they feel. So if I'm this cancer energy that's just in this collective soup, and there's all this fear and pain and suffering that's being like blared really loud, and then I come back into form every morning in my body, and I'm carrying some of that pain with me, right?

Like it's really important for me to ground into that divine feminine mother energy to come into that memory of the safety of the smell, something that is grounding me in my physical form that says, here I am ready to do the divine work, you know, that is bringing us into a deeper sense of belongingness and connectedness, right? Like I really do feel that that is part of my mission, you know, and you can see it. I mean, I can see it in my astrology.

J: Well, I can see it in your astrology for sure, and I'll tell you what's cooking there. Cause like what you're talking about, it's interesting that you're talking about the divine mother.

First of all, you do, you've got a lot of cancer placements, and there's this bunch going on there because it's not just uh it's not just your sun and your rising, you've also got Mercury and Hiron in there, along with Ceres, who I'm not gonna talk about, but and all of that is exactly in opposition to your Neptune and to Saturn and Uranus in Capricorn or sorry, and in Sagittarius, but Neptune's in Capricorn. So your your ascendant descendant line, that self that you are rising up into does need you to be extremely maternal.

So this the podcast that you do and the way that you live, I imagine the way that you nurture your clients and the ways that you even even the ways that you kind of speak, the way that you think is very nurturing, you know, that's very, very uh mercurial. And then there's also, I imagine an awful lot of wounding around mother. I don't know what that means. And you can talk about it.

A: I mean, there's mother wounds like on both sides of my lineage that go back, you know. And I would say that particularly both of my maternal grandmothers, I've had opportunities to kind of tend to or heal some of that, like rough of your maternal grandmothers. No, so both my my paternal and my maternal grandmother.

I see, I see it. So, like if I just tell like the tiniest little thing, it's like my maternal grandmother had schizophrenia, and I believe was, you know, a psychic psychic guy completely misunderstood. And that's my father and had schizophrenia was, you know, mentally unwell her whole life.

And when I was 19, I had a complete nervous breakdown, lost identity, psychosis, met God, spirit came back into my body, didn't know where I was. I got this really clear message at the time that she was there and she was like, and you're going to, you're going to make it. You're going to be seen differently. You're not going to live with this like uh stigma over you, right? Like that moment kind of brought me to her because I didn't really have a relationship with her. I was kind of scared of her. But at this time when I was 19, I felt like I brought her energy like in a positive.

J: She was already in the past. She was, she was no longer in physical past.

A: Yeah. She was already a non-physical. But I felt like I kind of like made peace with her, like the wounding that my mother received from her, and then I received, you know, via my mother. It was like there was a piece of that already kind of coming back together. And then my paternal grandmother, I actually left my globe trotting yoga career to come back to the United States to live with her and my cousin and give her end of life care. And she basically became my baby before I became a mother. At 28 years old, my Saturn return, I had to care for. I mean, you had to, that sounds like I felt like that sometimes.

I chose to, but it was a hard thing for me to do because I've never done any kind of elder care before, or even like white baby butts, honestly. Like I was so like not in that world. But it was this initiation into like mothering, except it was a 91-year-old woman. You know, so how beautiful. You know, I feel you on like this this mother thing, you know.

I would love to hear like a little bit about Lilith, because you mentioned Lilith in my chart. I don't know if that's a good time to kind of move into it.

J: Yeah, that's where it's where it's where we're going, baby. So yes, just to speak about her, she comes up so much lately, obviously, because the divine feminine consciousness is rising full stop. And so she has many different lores, um, many different tales of who she is and how to connect with her. And uh cabbalistically, we don't even say her name because she is that powerful a force that literally we don't even say her whole name. We give her the letter Lumid, and that's that.

And that letter is a very powerful letter, and whatever. Anyways, Lilith is in the chart, this energy of the divine feminine, but the dark divine feminine, right? You can think of it as this, you know, mother bear protect, like mother, like the lioness protecting her cub.

It's that like that very ferocious, you know, you hurt my baby, and now I will fucking kill you, and it's gonna be gory and ugly because how dare you even think that you could do that to my loved one. That energy is something in your chart that natally shows up in Virgo with your south node.

So for those who really don't know, the south node is the the nodes are the nodes of destiny, meaning you have a path of your spiritual purpose, and your destiny is to move into the essence of Pisces, mysticism, spirituality, the dissolving of reality, all of those things. Virgo is the opposite of that. It's the polarity. Virgo is grounded, it's stable, it's you know, very um dense in its way of being. It has a spirituality, but it's very, very focused on structure, systems, lists, you know, cleanliness.

Pisces is messy and crazy and chaotic and all those things. And so the systems that you already intrinsically know as part it's the south the south node is as we say, the tail of the dragon. So the head is heading where it needs to go.

The tail has already seen this shit, it already knows. So for you, there is this knowingness of what it is exactly as you're speaking about your maternal grandmother. You already have the knowingness of what it is to be stuck in the dimension, stuck in the like selfness in the in the in the reality of of that, and to feel what it is to be a woman scorned, what it is to be somebody who is so deeply harmed, who knows what that schizophrenia looked like in its practice.

Was she institutionalized, what happened in those institutions, what other things happened to her as a woman who was vulnerable, right? I I mean, I talk about this all the time. So all of those things are in your blueprint of knowingness in your chart. What's interesting is that the transit that is really activating right now is currently Lilith is moving towards your descendant node. So it has just a descendant um line.

So not node. Um it has just moved over this conjunction that you have of Saturn and Neptune in Sagittarius, and it's moving towards your sorry, Saturn and Uranus, and it's moving towards Neptune. So for you, there has like in the past couple of months as this transit has been moving, as Lilith has been on her journey, there has been this understanding for you about the sudden instinct and limitations, the boundaries of what happens when the boundary gets shaken up.

Because that's for you, though those two things go together. Boundaries are Saturn, suddenness is Uranus. Uranus is this aha electricity, and Saturn is the restrictions, the the patriarchy, the boundary, the the all of those things.

Lilith has been showing you what happens when there is a sudden, you know, change in the boundary itself, and how your own femininity, your own fuck around and find out, your own self-advocacy, your own standing in what that crazy is and letting it be crazy, like, oh, you think I'm fucking nuts now? Wait, bitch. Wait.

And then what's going to happen for you very soon is that it's going to move towards Neptune. So you will be able to literally, as we were sharing earlier, fantasize and envision that's Neptune, dream and imaginate what is possible if you are a woman who has been scorned.

What's possible if you are a woman who is fully in her power? What does the world look like? Neptune is a Neptune and Uranus, they're very slow moving planets. They're collective planets, right? They move very, very, very slowly. So as they're progressing, as they're moving, they're affecting everybody. Everything is happening. Now I know that in your reading, you had said to me that the planet that was sort of like flagged for you is like a hey, be careful about what's happening here, which never fucking be careful.

Let it all unfold. The world is fine. Everything is fucking fine, humanity.

If you're listening, everything is fine. Neptune is currently transiting today, it's retrograding over your Mars and Ceres. So I'm not gonna get too deep into it, but Mars is the planet of action, it is the planet of war, it is the planet of battle of the internal masculinity that exists in all of us. And Neptune dissolves. So there is a part of your own systems, structures, the ways that you take action that is changing and being re-invented, reimagined from a Neptunian space, and your natal Neptune is being activated by the inner feminine by that dark feminine. So something is shifting.

And yes, that's going to be uncomfortable. But to your point earlier, just to sort of like put a bow on this, most of what you think is happening is only happening in your mind. So the practice that you practice in your life on this podcast in in reality, that's the you already hold the key out of your mind.

You already hold the, you know, if if the psychic and the psyche and the psychosis and the you know, psychedelic are all connected, which I very much believe that they are. Then if you want to get out of the psychosis, all you need to do is get into the soma, get out of your mind and into your body.

So you have the key. There is no reason that this is going to actually be, I think, a hard month at all if you don't let it be. It's really about how much you're being like, like, yeah, you can.

It was literally given to you on purpose so that you would live through it and tell a different story than the story that your grandmother was telling, than the story that you believed about yourself until this very moment, you know. Yes.

A: Yes. I mean, that's something that I'm currently going through right now because I'm switching over all of my systems this year for my website, and I'm rewriting or planning on rewriting a whole bunch of content and trying to figure out how to integrate the.

J: You need an incredible editor. I have an amazing editor. She's like a copy editor and she's fucking awesome. But anyways, like I digress. Shout out to Steph. Yeah.

A: But uh, but yeah, so like that's something that I'm trying to figure out how to integrate is rewriting my somatic story that now includes two hip surgeries and knowing about this, you know, hip.

J: Well, that's the story of of self-advocacy for you, right? It's like, hello, I've had this pain my whole life. What do you mean I've had this thing that nobody ever noticed?

A: Well, and that, and that not only was there, you know, neglect from my parents, right? Right. And also from also from like yoga teachers and other people, you know, who just didn't, you know, I guess some people did say, well, maybe you should get that checked out by a doctor. Like I had people say that, but more often than not, there was a lot of like micromanaging or making it about, well, you're just not strong enough. Oh, well, you're just not strong enough yet.

And I had this story that I just wasn't, yeah, that I, there was something just about me. I just wasn't strong enough, or I just wasn't fit enough. Right, you know, it's like, oh, well, you know, okay, I just got to keep doing these lunges and I'll build the strength so that I won't feel wobbly every time I'm doing a lunge.

But I'm feeling wobbly every time I'm doing a lunge, and I feel like I'm exerting like way more energy than like half the room, must just be weak. It's like, no, now I got to integrate this whole understanding that my body was literally like compared to people who have actual ball and socket hip joints, like deformed, you know, and that my body was working a lot harder to do something that you know, other people just had as a given.

So that idea of like a foundation, you know, and that structure that I had to create, I had to build every single day that I walked around. Well, what if that structure's there now? What if I've done the work?

What if I've gotten the surgery and now that structure's there? What can happen to, you know, what can happen to ourselves when, as you said, we can feel functioning from a place of safety within our bodies instead of danger and fear. What can we create then? What kind of life do we get to have?

J: Correct, correct. And you know, that like as you're speaking, I want to say a couple of things. Firstly, enoughness is intrinsic. There is nothing that any of us need to do or have or be or whatever to be enough. We are all enough, whether you have the hip bone or not. But what's very interesting is that more often than not, because we live in a physical reality, we do experience different things, diseases and also, you know, things that sort of correct, right? Somebody would call what you had corrective surgery that correct the thing that has quote, always been not enough, so that you can look at yourself and be like, wow, okay, now I have this thing. I guess that checks that box.

How do I now become enough inside of myself? Right. And so, and and that happens in so many ways. And I I talk about this a lot, especially in my like in my course and in my mentorship is like the not enoughness shows up in so many ways. And the universe around us, the world as we are experiencing it, is a constant school lesson of how to get back to the godly self that we are all intrinsically connected to. That like part of us that is just literal stardust, just literal light within ourselves, remembering that, practicing like that, living like that.

The enoughness is intrinsic. So if there's a part of you that has forgotten it, if, for example, every time you lunge, you think to yourself, fuck, I'm not as good as everybody else. The universe will say, Well, ma'am, did you consider that maybe something in your body isn't exactly like everybody else?

And maybe you're a unique individual and that's totally okay. And there's also a solution, and all you need to do is let yourself follow that solution. But really, what you need to do is advocate for yourself because 10 people telling you go to the doctor is not a thing. You have to go to the doctor. And 30 people telling you, well, you know, it's probably because you're this and this and this and this is the same thing as those 10 people telling you to go to the doctor.

Just knowing inside of yourself, I am enough and I deserve to agree with myself with my own body. Yes, something is the matter here. I do need to deal with it. It is important because I am enough. I am valuable. And the stories I'm telling myself that I don't, that there's nothing wrong, or there's something wrong with me intrinsically.

And so who cares? I may as well not just deal with it. Both of those things land you in the same place. Now you've gone through this huge journey of two major surgeries, which is like not a small deal. And you're on the other side. Now you have this opportunity to literally rewire your story of who you are as a person because the quote, one thing that was wrong with you is no longer wrong. Right. So then what becomes possible?

A: I know. And so this is this really magical time for me. And it's also like I'm still I was saying, you know, at the beginning of this year and my last podcast about my surgery journey is that surgery is a portal, right? This surgery for me is this portal taking me to a different dimensional reality of who I'm really. And I have to just like as much as I want to be already out of the portal, it's like surgery was five weeks ago.

Okay. Like I'm still in the fucking portal. Like it's okay to be in the portal still, you know, as much as I like want to be over with it already, or I can't wait to do squats and lunges.

It's like I still am in the portal and that's okay. You know, I have like another client right now, one of my love, I love her. She's so wonderful. She's been working with me for like three years. She comes to my retreats. And the last retreat that she came to, she six days before she came to the retreat, and she talked about this like at the retreat because she had to.

Her husband of five years, her partner of 12 years filed for divorce out of the blue, said, I hate you, literally. He'd never, he never once yelled at her. I was like, Well, that's a red flag. If you've been in a relationship with someone for 12 years and they've never raised their voice at you, that's a red flag, in my opinion.

Because they're hiding something, they're not being their full spectrum of experience, right? Yeah. So it's like she had that experience, and then now she's going through this, you know, losing her home. She's getting divorced.

Like her whole world is just crumbling. And like, you know, we text and we talk. And I said, you know, divorce is a portal, and you're in the portal. You know, there are all these portals that come in throughout our lives. And like we gotta ride them. We gotta ride through the dark, dismal, bizarre portal that's called.

J: Who do you get to be now that you're not suppressed in some relationship where nobody where the person you sleep beside who you're sharing that energy with in the in the astral is not even processing, and what are they processing up there? And what are you receiving in that your sleep and all these things? Amy, do you tap or do you do you do you do you know?

A: It's so funny because my husband was just asking me about tapping yesterday, and I was like, oh my God, I've done a bunch of that. But it was like, it was three years ago. I had this wonderful friend slash collaborator who's a somatic therapist, and we did like a trade for like six months. And so every week I was tapping with her. We did like the butterfly taps. We did, but I'm down to do more of it, and maybe it's the right time. It's like the universe bringing it back in.

J: Yeah, you know, for me, you know, you asked me before we started, like, what's really alive for me. I have been so I got certified in EFT three, four years ago, but I have been tapping since I was 20. And actually, maybe even before that. But I had a uh very wonderful therapist who I really appreciated, who, you know, led me in the directions that I needed to go.

And she and I would tap. And it was always so impactful. And I never fully understood why until I got certified.

And I was like, oh, I see. But the reason that I ask is because for me, all of the things that I'm reprogramming about my own story and my own parts of myself that have felt intrinsically inherently not enough that I'm like, that is a fucking lie. Like that is absolutely untrue. And actually, I have lots and lots of evidence to the alternative, but I genuinely, particularly in this one place of my life, kind of love to be the, you know, play

A: that ramsil in distress, something like that.

J: Yeah. And so in reprogramming it, the thing that has been most impactful for me is tapping. And I find myself now, like I'm I'm having stressful days and I'm I'm tapping on on points just throughout the day. But it's also for me, and in my practice, it is such a huge part of the way in which we in the here and now notice what the emotion is and allow it to move through the body, because the way that EFT actually works is that it's you're rewiring the neural pathways as you're speaking. So you could be saying something like, I fucking hate being alive and I wish I was dead. And actually, your brain is being like, that's not even true. So, like there's this very, very interesting thing.

So I'm encouraging for you, and you can the my 21-day program has 21 days of EFT tapping to like tap more in with your psychic gifts and to go a lot deeper, and it has three very in-depth, you know, teachings about the astrology and where it lives in your body and the clear senses and all those pieces and how to like tap in with your dreams and projection and all these other cool woo things that people love.

But the tapping is like it's the unlock for me. It's the thing that's like I know that I'm living in my head in this way that is absolutely serving a demon and not the light. It's serving that self that's like, well, maybe if you could just do a fucking lunge, you lazy piece of shit, you'd be better as a mother and a person, maybe or which like all those things don't connect and they're not true.

And as I'm saying to them to you, you're like, excuse me, ma'am. In your own. I like that.

Right. And so tapping through it and being like, even though I believe these things about myself, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. And then moving and being like, that just ain't true. And then something unlocks and you feel that feeling because to your point about your client and her now ex-husband.

If you don't let yourself feel it, and to my point earlier, if you're not talking about what those polarizing things are, you can't name them. If you don't know that it's an egg or a sperm, you can't bring them together to make a baby. You just can't. So it's all gotta come to the surface. And for me, when it does, I'm like, that fucking sucks. What can I do about it? Let me tap in and tap the fuck out on it. Because I just can't. So I would highly recommend that.

A: I do. I think that that's you know, especially since my husband recommended or asked me about it yesterday. I take these things as signs that like it's something that's supposed to come in. You know, I really do believe that the different somatic tools that are out there are meant to be synthesized and combined.

J: And I, you know, as someone who is like a bikram yoga teacher, which is like such a dogmatic form of yoga. I thought it's one of my favorites.

A: I mean, I love it too. I love the intensity. I'm so addicted to it. But at the same time, there could be this mentality of like this is the only yoga that you ever need to do. Just these 26 postures are gonna solve everything. And like, you know, the truth is we need a recipe. We need like an alchemical recipe to really, you know, and it's gotta be the one for where we're at right now, you know.

J: And yeah, that's the gift of astrology. Because when you understand your chart and the transits, you're like, I am this intrinsically, innately, divinely guided by that first breath that stuck me in this godforsaken dimension. And then there are things that are evolving and this is working for me, and that's not. And I'm gonna bring this in and I'm gonna drop that, and then I'm gonna study about this thing and learn all about it, and then I'm gonna be like, cool. Maybe all I need is to just sniff some fucking bergamot in the morning and I'm good to go, you know. Yeah. Yeah.

A: Love it. Well, this has just been such a magical conversation. And I love your enthusiasm. I love your energy. I I feel like I can feel that you trust yourself even when you're just a a human, you know. You don't have to wear some like highfalutin, you know, spiritual hat to just deliver, you know. And I love this.

J: This is why my show is called the Just Jana Show, because I'm just Jana, man.

Speaker 4: Yeah, Otherwise. Yeah.

A: Well, it's it's wonderful. It's contagious. And I hope everybody listening feels a little bit more, you know, willing today to just be who they are and speak from their awareness from their self. You know, if you're not sure, you know, whether again, like you said earlier, if you're speaking from that anxiety or that fear patterning, or you're speaking from, you know, your essence and who you are, like slow down, right? Do some very gentle tiny somatic movements. Maybe look up a little tapping routine, take some deep breaths, right? Like find an essential oil, like anything that you can do to just

J: doing forks, crystal balls, put your feet on the earth, go pray, you know, sit with yourself, have a conversation with somebody that you know is safe. Like there's a million ways to regulate, you know, so use them all.

A: Right, right. And you know, where we're at as a collective is very intense right now because we're on the precipice of this big change, right? Yes, like we're we're we're about to enter, we're in the portal, traveling along. So definitely everybody listening, check out the year-long program, psychic mastery and check out the 21-day uh EFT. Is it a challenge, or is it what is it? Is it a program?

J: It's like a pre-recorded program. It's got the three, I think they're like two plus hours, the three classes, and then to every day for 21 days, you get a little 10-minute video that has some prompts and some like, you know, this is what's unfolding, and here's what what I'm noticing in my own process. And so I had pre-recorded the whole thing. So that's called psychic literacy. And it's uh I'll you'll have the link, I'm sure, in the show notes. So and then my my my show, the just Jana show, you can tune in and listen to that too. It's fun. Oh, lots of readings and stuff like that. It's fun.

A: Yeah, I'm I'm definitely gonna be tuning in. So great. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful energy, your wonderful time. It's been such medicine for me personally today. And I hope everybody listening got something out of it. As usual, if you want to reach out to me or Jana, you'll find her information in the show notes. I always love to hear about your insights and what you thought of the episode. So we'll be in touch. Thank you. Hey there, friend.
