I feel so lucky to become part of the global water family of Watsu as I work my way towards Practitioner status.
Thank you to Carlos (@onesoulspa) and @keli_procopio for being my teachers, guides and givers.
I had the extra challenge of listening to the training all in French, (with of course an eventual translation) but I have come away from this training and trip with deeper confidence in my ability to give aquatic bodywork.
Obviously, I’m still nowhere near as masterful at water work as I am at Hanna Somatics, but I look forward to continuing to merge these modalities and philosophies, within my own soma and my offerings to the world.
Even more in love with the retreats that Kim (@recovery_wellness_coach) and I are creating to help “your body remember how beautiful your soul is”
In the second video, turn the sound on to hear the whales. What a big build up! Hearing them for so long until we saw them. The one that comes up in front of us was underneath us for a long time. Singing. This video was caught by my colleague Charlotte and basically shows the climatic moment when saw the full body of the whale we had been swimming with. (Rather than just its tail!)
French Polynesia was stunning. And I can’t to go back to Moorea (with YOU!) for a Flow Your Soma retreat next year!
Oh and that spider in the shower? About the size of my palm.
Kind of reminded me of a skinny tarantula.
